Photography has been my passion since I picked up my first camera at just nine years old. Decades of training, experience and dedication have shaped my distinctive style, allowing me to create bespoke portraits that are as individual as the families I photograph. No two sessions are ever the same—every image is thoughtfully planned and tailored to tell your unique story.

Born and raised in Stockport, I opened Laycock Photography’s first studio there in November 2019. After marrying my wonderful wife, Elizabeth, we brought our families together and moved to the inspiring surroundings of Stalybridge, where we’ve made our home in the historic Cheethams Mill. Surrounded by the rolling hills of Greater Manchester and blessed with beautiful natural light, our studio is the perfect setting for creating elegant portrait artwork.

Our speciality is creating Old Masters-inspired fine art portraits that combine classical beauty with modern craftsmanship.
